Whether it is for drinking sparkling water, wine, juice or even coffee. This makes it all the more important to have a good selection of glasses that are ideal for traveling in a camper. Normal glass or porcelain can be thrown back and forth in cupboards or drawers during a trip and can also cause shards.

The ideal materials for camping glasses

At Wildnest Glamping, we rely on alternative materials to glass. Basically, glass has a nice feel and we are used to the feeling at home, but in a caravan or motorhome, broken glass is to be avoided. So we went on a search and found thermoplastic, which is 100% recyclable, super glass and tempered glass. These materials couldn't feel more different to the touch, but they are all excellent for the bumpy ride in a camper. Our glasses from Duralex are made of tempered glass. You can't feel any difference to normal glass. Just as strong and the same weight. Due to the special production process, it is virtually unbreakable. The glasses are even popular in kindergartens and day care centers, as they are great for small hands and can easily withstand falls from heights.
